Thom Zimny and Oren Moverman’s five-episode docuseries “Willie Nelson & Family” premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival and included four photographs credited to Jimmy Moore.
The film documents Willie Nelson’s achievements, lifestyle, and influence in his seventy years as a musician and cultural icon.
Jimmy was the photographer for Willie’s first album cover. Their friendship spanned decades after their first meeting and Jimmy continued to work with Willie on various professional and personal photography projects.
This friendship led to a series of contacts that propelled Jimmy’s career in country music photography, making Willie Nelson an especially important figure in Jimmy’s life.
